This LC\/UPC Fiber Optic Attenuator provides a fixed nominal 5 dB reduction in optical signal power. Its male-to-female LC\/UPC configuration fits a compatible singlemode connection where received optical power needs to be reduced without changing the connector interface.<\/p>\n

Designed as a compact plug-in attenuator, it can be positioned between a compatible LC\/UPC connector and an LC\/UPC adapter in a distribution panel, cabinet, or test setup. The blue housing has a visible 5dB marking for identification. Match both connector polish and the required attenuation to the link before installation.<\/p>\n
