ST UPC to ST UPC OS2 Simplex Patch Cord for Matching ST Fiber Ports

This ST UPC to ST UPC OS2 simplex single-mode fiber patch cord connects matching ST/UPC interfaces at both ends. Both endpoints use ST connectors with UPC polish, making it suitable for links where legacy or existing equipment requires ST/UPC at both endpoints. The working configuration uses OS2 9/125μm single-mode fiber, simplex construction, an LSZH jacket, 1m–10m lengths, and ≤0.5 dB insertion loss.

Connector A	ST UPC	Connector B	ST UPC
Fiber Type	OS2 9/125μm Single Mode	Fiber Structure	Simplex
Cable Jacket	LSZH	Available Length	1m – 10m
Insertion Loss	≤0.5dB	Application	FTTH, Telecom Network

ST/UPC at Both Ends

Both endpoints use ST connectors with UPC polish. The bayonet-style ST interface is commonly encountered in legacy telecom, campus, monitoring and industrial fiber installations.

Same-Connector, Same-Polish Link

Because both ends use the same ST/UPC termination, there is no connector-specific A-to-B direction; the key requirement is matching ST/UPC interfaces at both endpoints.

OS2 Simplex with LSZH Jacket

The working configuration uses OS2 9/125μm single-mode fiber, simplex construction, an LSZH jacket, 1m–10m lengths, and ≤0.5 dB insertion loss.
