This SC/UPC to ST/APC patch cord is the mixed-connector, mixed-polish configuration in the OS2 single-mode simplex range. It combines an SC/UPC connector on one end with an ST/APC connector on the other, so both the connector type and polish type differ between the two endpoints. The current page specifies OS2 9/125μm single-mode fiber, Corning ClearCurve® G.657.A1 fiber, a 2.0mm LSZH jacket, and ≤0.3 dB insertion loss.

Product Highlights

SC/UPC to ST/APC Mixed Connector + Mixed Polish

This SKU combines two differences at once: SC to ST connector conversion and UPC to APC polish conversion. Its page identity should therefore stay centered on the complete SC/UPC-to-ST/APC pairing rather than on generic OS2 wording.

Match Each End to the Required Port

The cable itself does not have a fixed transmission direction, but each physical end must still match the required interface: the SC/UPC end goes to the SC/UPC side of the link and the ST/APC end goes to the ST/APC side.

OS2 Simplex, 2.0mm LSZH, ≤0.3 dB

The current page specifies OS2 9/125μm single-mode fiber in a simplex construction, Corning ClearCurve® G.657.A1 fiber, a 2.0mm LSZH jacket, and insertion loss of ≤0.3 dB.
