OM3 MPO Patch Cable, Male to Male, with 8 or 12 Fibers

The OM3 MPO Patch Cable is an MPO-to-MPO multimode fiber assembly with pinned (male) MPO connectors at both ends. It uses OM3 50/125µm fiber and is available with 8 or 12 fibers. Choose from the actual listed lengths for each fiber-count option. It is intended for compatible high-density multimode MPO cabling systems.

Male MPO connectors have guide pins and must mate with compatible pinless (female) MPO connectors. Before selecting this cable, verify the mating interface, polarity and key orientation required by the link. Eight-fiber and 12-fiber configurations must be matched to the channel’s fiber-position mapping.

The 8-fiber option is available in 1m, 2m, 3m and 5m. The 12-fiber option is available in 1m, 2m, 3m, 5m and 10m. Select both the fiber count and length before ordering.

What does MPO male to male mean?

Both cable ends use pinned MPO male connectors. They must mate with compatible pinless MPO female connectors. Two pinned male MPO connectors must not be mated directly.
