This Bend Insensitive OM4 multimode fiber (50/125 µm) is designed for high-performance data transmission. It features a 12-fiber count and supports 850/1300 nm wavelengths with low attenuation (≤2.3 dB/km at 850 nm and ≤1.0 dB/km at 1300 nm). The connectors have a UPC to UPC polish, Type B polarity, ensuring an insertion loss of ≤0.35 dB and a return loss of ≥30 dB.

Physical Characteristics and Durability

The fiber cable has a compact 3.0 mm diameter and a minimum bend radius of 7.5 mm for the fiber core, making it highly flexible for tight spaces. It is built for durability with a tensile strength of 80/150 N (Long/Short Term) and connector durability rated for 500 to 1000 mating cycles. The minimum bend radius for the cable itself is 10D (Dynamic) and 5D (Static).​

Safety and Environmental Rating

This cable is constructed with a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket and carries an OFNR (Optical Fiber Non-conductive Riser) flame rating, ensuring enhanced safety in building installations. It is designed to operate reliably in a wide temperature range from -20°C to 70°C, making it suitable for various demanding environments.
