Custom OS2 Simplex Fiber Patch Cord for LC, SC, FC and ST Connections

The Custom OS2 Simplex Fiber Patch Cord is a single-mode, one-fiber patch cable intended for configurations using LC, SC, FC or ST connectors. Specify the connector required at each end, the cable length and your installation requirements before ordering.

This page covers a customizable OS2 fiber patch cord rather than a fixed set of length variants. Cable color and jacket requirements should be discussed when confirming the configuration; the product image represents one example and does not establish the jacket material for every order.

Fiber Type	OS2 9/125μm single-mode	Fiber Structure	Simplex (one fiber)
Connector Selection	LC, SC, FC or ST; specify each end	Cable Length	Specify when requesting customization
Cable Color	Confirm for the required configuration	Jacket Specification	Confirm for the required installation

LC, SC, FC and ST Connector Selection

Choose the appropriate connector format for each equipment port. State the required end-face polish as part of your inquiry so the connector interfaces can be checked for compatibility.

Project-Specific Cable Length and Color

Provide the required length and preferred cable color when contacting CableFam about a customized order.

OS2 Single-Mode Simplex Construction

The OS2 single-mode, one-fiber format is intended for a single optical connection. Confirm the cable jacket and other installation-specific requirements before finalizing the order.

Strict Optical Cable Performance Inspection

OS2 single-mode simplex fiber patch cords are used for optical connections where connector compatibility and the requested cable configuration matter. Before production, specify the connector format, length and installation requirements. The quality-control process includes the connector and optical inspections illustrated below.
